In 1991, KDA divided from its parent company Kuk Dong in order to focus on engineering and manufacturing within the field of factory automation. During the following decade, KDA manufactured and supplied systems mainly to Samsung and Samsung’s global factories.
In 2003, with this experience, KDA established a new business unit focusing on communication & surveillance system integration. Alongside this new business unit, KDA began to manufacture and develop their own hazardous area camera stations in order to combine them with their integration business. This led to KDA supplying the marine industry and major shipyards with integrated CCTV systems.
In addition to working with the marine industry, KDA began working with major EPC contractors by supplying integrated communication and security systems such as PABX, PA/GA, Paging/Intercom, Radio/Wireless Communication and Networking Systems as well as surveillance systems including CCTV, Fence Intrusion Detection Systems and Access Control Systems.
As a result, KDA has grown into a leader in the fields of communication, security and surveillance system integration. Armed with this experience, KDA promises its customers that they will be satisfied with the performance and reliability of their purchased systems.

Company Founding
KDA was established on February 1st, 1991 after separating from Kukdong CO., LTD. -
1993
Samsung SDI Supplier
KDA became a supplier of equipment for Samsung SDI in 1993. -
1995
Samsung Techwin Registered Supplier
KDA became a registered supplier for Samsung Techwin in 1995. -
2003
Surveillance Business Unit
In 2003, KDA developed an in-house surveillance business unit focused on cctv camera manufacturing and integration. -
2005
ISO 9001 Certification
KDA received ISO 9001 Certification in 2004.
Development of Marine CCTV System
In 2004, KDA developed its Marine CCTV system with IP66/67/68 certification.
Registered Hyundai Heavy Industry Supplier
In 2004, KDA became a registered supplier for Hyundai Heavy Industries. Covering both plant and shipbuilding projects.
Market entry into large scale EPC contracted projects
In 2004, KDA entered into the large scale Oil & Gas refinery and power plant project market. With this entry into the market, KDA began work on a combined 4 plant (Oil&Gas/Power plant) project for Saudi Aramco’s 3rd Party Cogeneration project. -

Type Approval for Lloyd's Register
In 2007, KDA received Lloyd’s Register’s Type Approval for its CCTV systems.
Registered Hanwha Supplier
KDA became a registered supplier of Hanhwa in 2007. -
2008
Expansion into Chemical Plant Projects
In 2008, KDA was awarded a contract to supply a communication system for the AAC Ethyleneamines Project.
Registered Samsung Heavy Industries Supplier
In 2008, KDA registered as a supplier for Samsung Heavy Industries. -
2010
Registered Doosan Heavy Industries Supplier
KDA became a registered supplier for Doosan Heavy Industries in 2010.
ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 Certification
In 2010, KDA received ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 certification.
Sabiya CCGT (Largest Combined System Project)
In 2010, KDA was awarded the contract to supply a combined system consisting of (Communication, CCTV and Environmental). For this project, KDA was approved as a vendor by the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait. -

Expansion into Desalination Plant Projects
In 2011, KDA was awarded a contract to supply both a security as well as communication system for the Marafiq MED (Multi-Effect Distillation) project. -
2012
ATEX CCTV Housing Certification
In 2012, KDA received ATEX certification for its explosion proof CCTV housing unit.
Registered Daelim Industrial Supplier
In 2012, KDA became a registered supplier of Daelim Industrial.
Takreer Approved Supplier
In 2012, KDA received permanent approval from Takreer in UAE as a System Integration supplier for both Telecommunication systems as well as CCTV systems.
Expansion into Industrial Plant Projects
In 2012, KDA was awarded a contract to supply a communication system for the Ma-aden Aluminium Rolling Mill Project. -

Registered KEPCO E&C Supplier
In 2013, KDA became a registered supplier for KEPCO E&C. -

Registered STX Heavy Industries and Samsung C&T Supplier
In 2014, KDA became a registered supplier of STX Heavy Industries.
Approved CCTV system supplier for the Chinese Shipbuilding Market
In 2014, KDA became a registered supplier of CCTV systems for Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. -

Registered Hanwha Q Cells Supplier
In 2015, KDA registered as a supplier for Hanwha Q Cells.
Expansion into Solar Plant Projects
KDA was awarded a contract to supply a security system for the Jordan IRPP1 10MW PV Power Plant Project in 2015. -
2016
JSTPP & SSPP (Largest combined projects)
In 2016, KDA was awarded the largest combined contract for CCTV and security systems in company history. The combined projects are the Jeddah South Thermal Power Plant and the Shuquaiq Steam Power Plant projects. -
2018
In 2018, KDA became a strategic partner of ComTrol(Singapore) PAGA System and became a registered SI Supplier of Ma’aden Group(Saudi Arabia), TAKORADI, and Communication/Security system Supplier of AZUR-NORTH Power Plant in Iraq

2019
In 2019, KDA released a new product : Industrial IP CCTV Camera(Ex-proof PTZ/Fixed, Weather Proof PTZ/Fixed), New Product for Marine IP CCTV Camera and became an HCIS Cooperative Partner of AL TAWASUR in Saudi Arabia.
Alongside, KDA also became a strategic partner of SENSTAR(Canada) in Security Solution(FIDS, MIDS, FOPIMS, Sensing Cable System, Analytic CCTV Surveillance System) and have supported the CPECC (Abu Dhabi Branch) for Tiger Oil Project. KDA also supported SNC-Lavalin for Dalma Development Project, Mozambique ExxonMobil project and became a registered supplier of Communication/Security system of Technip Energies for the Long Son Petrochemicals Complex (LSP) project in Vietnam. -
